The Hair Designer started out as a dream of Janis Scott over 30 years ago.  In 1982 Janis opened her first salon in Conshohocken, which quickly grew and demanded more space to better serve her clients.  She then moved to Lafayette Hill and spent the next 20 years in that location.  In 2007, as business began to grow again, the need for a larger space prompted another move back to Conshohocken where it all started.

She and her staff have worked hard over the years to create a fun, friendly and comfortable atmosphere nestled in the bustling town of Conshohocken, PA.  We enjoy the community feel of where we’re located and truly feel we have the best customers in the world! 

Our staff regularly attends continuing education to give our clientele the very best services and styles around!
